In honor of Black History Month

Let's pay tribute to the first known African American nurse, Mary Eliza Mahoney. Born in 1845, Mahoney broke barriers as the first black woman to graduate from a nursing school in the United States. Her determination and hard work paved the way for future generations of black women to enter the nursing profession.

Mahoney's legacy continues to inspire and remind us of the importance of diversity and representation in all industries. We honor her memory and celebrate her achievements today and always."
